Founded in 1999, Ultimate Plastics grew from a single injection moulding machine to a current compliment of 6 machines, ranging from a 35 ton to 85 ton. All moulds are serviced in-house by trained staff in our toolroom. Catering for mass production clients as well as small order production runs. The emphasis has and will always be on quality and customer satisfaction. The company believes in long term relationships with their clients. We offer the full compliment from initial drawings and design to prototyping right through to production and assembly.

Ultimate Plastics Projects

The production manager, Chris Giliomee oversees all activities in the factory where trusted Aurburg injection moulding machines are used. All machines are well maintained to ensure excellent productivity and little downtime. A highly motivated staff of 40 people ensures that components are trimmed and packed according to customer specification. Clients will receive a top quality product and on-time delivery.

Medical

We perfected the design of cassettes for rapid diagnostic testing in the field of Malaria, HIV and HCG. With customers ranging from local lateral flow development specialist to production assembly plants. Our cassette is of the highest quality and are also exported the UK and USA.

We also offer a number of plastic teater components used in operations.

Denture cups are made for the dental industry. A cream dispenser that doses a specific volume and can be used as an applicator is especially popular with compounding pharmacy's. Clamshell packaging for BD Syringes is supplied to pharmacies. Denture Cups for various Dental companies.

Industrial

We manufacture a big range of plastics products for the industrial wood manufacturers. Anything from sliding door guides to plastic dowel pins.

Soft rubberlike plastic feet for Aluminium ladders comes in various shapes and sizes.

A unique dome doorstop was developed with one of our customers and is our biggest export overseas at the moment. Plastic endcaps both hard and soft for extrusions and wire products. Plastic hinges for truck doors. We also have custom made deck clips from the high quality standards made from UV stabilised Nylon guaranteed to outlive the wood and plastic decking. Plastic â€œInfinity Chainâ€ was developed for crowd control and decorative chains.

Electronic Housings

One of our new avenues are the Electronic housing market. We develop a number of housings for the electronic industry from hot water systems to access control for correctional services. Battery and LED holders. Each housing is custom designed around the PCB to make it as small and eye pleasing as possible.

Custom

We are one of only a few plastic companies who cater for the small guy with an idea. This is also our biggest cliental with a large range of cheaper mould option available. We have developed the following products with our customers from scratch to bring their dreams to life.

Toothpick business cards. Plastic insert for peak caps. Surfing leash repair kit. Fake Nails to paint design on. Plastic flower arrangement holder

Most of our products are custom made for our clients and the moulds belong to them.

On our own product range, we make Bag clips, and serrated edges for glad rap boxes.

The Infinity chain is designed to easily assemble the correct length needed and to mixed and math almost any colour in the rainbow. Even glow in the dark is possible.

MyBok

MyBok is a tag that will be used to identify your game after it has been shot. The tag can be hooked either through the ear or through the heel tendon. The idea of the tag is that each hunter's game, once shot, is tagged with a different colour tag to enable the hunter to identity his own game. This tag can also be used to identify the packaging in which the slaughtered meat is packed in and there is ample space on the tag to write your name or weight on.

Chamber Safety Flag

The Rifle Safety flag was developed with Gun Safety in mind. Te flag fits in 99% of rifles and hand gun. It is a guide to help the range officer see the chamber is clear. It also prevents the chamber from closing.

Infinity-Chain

One of our newest products is the Plastic Infinity-Chain we developed. A plastic chain that can easily be adjusted to the required length. Main uses for access control and to block off entry points when doing maintenance on machines or areas where work is being done. This can be used to hang decorations from roofs. It is available in almost any color combination. Even glow in the dark.

Vacuum Forming

With our newly acquired Formech vacuum forming machine we are able to manufacture anything from custom made packaging to chocolate mould. Our big advantage is the small production runs and to be able to form plastic sheets as thick as 3mm. www.formech.com
